Beginners Course (£450+VAT) Two Days - Up to a maximum of 4 people in a group
A two-day intensive training course that equips students with basic presenting techniques guaranteed to get the best out of them on camera. The two days also provide you with an originally produced showreel that no other course can match. Tuition includes individual direction on a one-to-one basis with a top team of industry professionals.

Day 1

Using cameras all the way through so that students can get used to seeing themselves on camera but no recording as such.

Getting relaxed in front of camera - the basics; students will be coached on how to walk and talk/body language and voice control.

Interviewing techniques - How to get the best out of your interviewee. Learn to structure your questions intelligently, make your guest feel at ease and how to throw them off guard to get the most spontaneous answers.

Script Writing - starting with a blank sheet of paper, students will drum up scripts and learn how to bring the words to life on screen using their own vernacular and terminology. They will be shown how to apply conversational techniques into their "pieces-to-camera" and match up their writing style with their personality.

Vox Pops - We'll teach you how to make these quick-fire interviews that give a flavour of public opinion entertaining. This is a real chance to get your personality across on camera.

Final script preparations and rehearsals for the next day's showreel shoot. Plus wardrobe consultation for the look students want to achieve on screen.

Day 2

We film students individually on location. They will be coached and directed all the way through the key areas learnt the previous day - interviews, pieces-to-camera, vox pops.

Reviewing Material - We'll give them the chance to watch footage back and choose their favourite clips for their showreel.

Editing - we edit together each student's strongest material in our post production house making sure that they end up with a professional showreel that stands out from the competition. Students each receive a master copy of their showreel shortly after the course.

Designer Showreel (£995+VAT)

This is an exclusive training course for new presenters, or existing presenters, who want to invest in a showreel that's specially made for them. It's an individual course and includes a detailed consultation with our team of producers and trainers and one day's filming on location.

All the key skills from the group course are covered in this but we have the ability to do more individual training on specific needs.
