Liz Mills, founder of Top TV Academy, is a programme maker at the top of her profession. As Head of Reality TV for Endemol UK Productions – makers of Big Brother, Fame Academy and Changing Rooms – she launched Pet Rescue and The Salon and as Executive Producer at the BBC she ran Crimewatch UK and a host of other popular factual programmes.

Liz and her team of experienced TV professionals share a passion for TV production and a desire to develop and coach the next generation of talent.

Ashe Hussain is our Training Director. She currently manages the C4 training programmes as well as bespoke training for indies. Ashe was previously based in Glasgow where she worked as Project Manager at The Research Centre for three years. She had located to Glasgow to pursue a postgraduate degree in Molecular Genetics and this science job enabled her to join BBC Scotland. She worked as a Radio Producer for live, topical programmes before joining BBC's Television Features department. Ashe is a Board member of the Glasgow Film Theatre and on the Advisory Committee for the National Film & Television School.

Jess Hayley is our Training Programmes administrator. Jess co-ordinates the current raft of training projects, including those we run for Channel 4. She has a background in office administration, and IT system management. She is extremely quick with figures having worked for several years as a bookkeeper for a major casino chain.

Marie Elias is our Membership Manager and is the first port of call for all membership issues, including booking all masterclasses and events. Marie has worked across a variety of production roles on films, commercials, corporate and promotional films. She has a background in production co-ordination and live events management.
